Utah locals: more activities this weekend

I've already posted on activities at Toys R' Us, Home Depot, Festival of Trees, Red Butte Garden, Salt Lake Children's Choir, and the Ogden Christmas Village. Here are some more activities:


Holiday Open House, Art & Gift Sale at the Ogden Nature Center - tomorrow, Saturday December 4 from 9am to 4pm. FREE admission for everyone, all day!! Enjoy light refreshments, free gift wrapping with a natural flair, great holiday shopping, and a free craft for kids. Fresh evergreen swags, wreaths and table decor will be for sale. This year's open house also will feature local artists selling eco-friendly items, a holiday bake sale, and silent auction.


Santa Claus is scheduled to visit Farmington and he wants to see you!! You won't want to miss this opportunity to tell the Big Guy what you want for Christmas. His helpers will take a free family picture and serve you some refreshments too! Get in the Christmas spirit this Saturday afternoon from 1:00 - 5:00pm at the Farmington Community Center. Gallivan Ice Skating rink is open (even during construction). They are offering great deals. Everyone skates for $5 (including skates) Monday - Thursday 4:30 - 9pm; Friday/Saturday 12pm-midnight; Sunday 12pm-6pm.

The Syracuse Family Fun Center (previously Sparetime) is offering a GREAT lunch idea. Buy a kids meal (shy of $4) and get FREE bouncing! Available Monday-Friday 12-3pm. Mondays are Family Day! I hour of bowling and a pitcher of Soda for only $19.95 includes shoe rental (max 6 guests)
